About The Position

Adobe is seeking a Principal, Global Industry Strategy for Healthcare & Life Sciences to define, operationalize, and scale Adobe’s industry strategy across one of its most strategic verticals. This role is focused on strategic marketing and go-to-market (GTM) architecture—translating industry insight into clear positioning, actionable plans, and repeatable programs that drive measurable business impact. You will shape Adobe’s industry narrative, align global and regional execution, and ensure that industry strategy is embedded into active deals, pipeline creation, and customer expansion. This is not a pure thought leadership or evangelism role. Success in this position requires the ability to connect strategy to execution, build scalable assets and programs, and drive adoption across a complex, matrixed organization. You will work at the intersection of Sales, Digital Strategy, Product, Marketing, and Partners to ensure Adobe’s Healthcare & Life Sciences strategy is clear, differentiated, and operationalized globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences (Pharma, Life Sciences, MedTech, Payors, or Providers)
  • Strong background in strategy, strategic marketing, or industry consulting within a global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to translate market insight into actionable GTM strategy and programs
  • Experience building scalable frameworks, narratives, and enablement assets that drive adoption
  • Proven track record of influencing pipeline, deals, or business outcomes, not just awareness
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
  • Structured thinker with strong communication, storytelling, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Industry Strategy & GTM Architecture Define and evolve Adobe’s global Healthcare & Life Sciences industry positioning, narrative, and strategic priorities
  • Translate market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into clear GTM strategies, plays, and investment focus areas
  • Build structured, repeatable industry GTM frameworks that can be scaled across regions and teams
  • Identify and prioritize high-value use cases and solution plays aligned to Adobe’s platform capabilities
  • Partner with regional teams to ensure global strategy is effectively localized and executed
  • Strategic Marketing & Thought Leadership Develop clear, prescriptive industry POVs grounded in customer reality and business outcomes—not abstract trends
  • Create high-quality, field-ready assets (e.g., CXO narratives, industry decks, use case frameworks, playbooks)
  • Ensure messaging is consistent, differentiated, and aligned to Adobe’s platform strategy
  • Partner with Marketing to align industry strategy with campaigns, content, and major events
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to content—focused on adoption and impact, not volume
  • Scale the industry message through marketing, partners, third party events, and Adobe global / regional teams – collaborating with these teams to drive scale
  • Pipeline & Deal Impact Embed industry strategy directly into active opportunities, account plans, and strategic deals
  • Partner with Sales and Digital Strategy teams to shape industry-relevant transformation roadmaps for priority accounts
  • Ensure industry narratives and use cases are used in executive conversations (VP+ / C-level)
  • Contribute to pipeline creation and progression through targeted industry plays and programs
  • Track and measure impact through deal influence, pipeline attribution, and adoption metrics
  • Enablement, Scale & Operating Model Build scalable industry enablement (playbooks, messaging, use cases) to drive consistent execution across regions
  • Partner with Enablement and field leaders to ensure adoption and fluency, not just asset creation
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, governance, and collaboration models across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partners
  • Support partner alignment by integrating industry strategy into joint GTM motions and solutions
  • Executive Engagement (Targeted & High-Impact) Engage selectively in high-value executive conversations where industry expertise directly supports strategic deals or relationships
  • Represent Adobe with credibility in key moments—but with a focus on impact over activity
