About The Position

As a Global Indirect Sourcing Manager at Lime, you will be a key player in our global strategic sourcing organization, driving contract negotiations, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your expertise will be critical in supporting the company's growth, driving cost savings, and managing risks within our regional supply chains. This role will be responsible for IT hardware, software, services, telecommunications and corporate travel categories. In this role, you will have one direct report. This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in the Central or Eastern time zones within the United States to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • Experience: More than 6+ years of experience in indirect sourcing managing multiple global categories, specific experience with IT software. Must have a proven track record of driving cost savings and managing complex sourcing activities, ability to manage substantial contracts, knowledge on conducting RFQ/RFP processes and working for an enterprise with over $100M indirect spend is required. Experience with negotiations for corporate travel programs is a plus Must have strong contract redline review knowledge and financial analytical skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing a direct report, working with company leadership, managing cross-functional teams and high-stakes vendor relationships.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data evaluation and the ability to translate insights into actionable procurement strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Expertise in managing contracts, compliance, and procurement documentation with precision.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop innovative solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and develop strategies that align with long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and engage with suppliers that align with our long-term business objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Advanced Contract Negotiations: Manage complex negotiations, securing favorable terms and minimize risks while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Cost Optimization: Develop and execute strategies to optimize procurement spend, driving significant cost reductions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and support strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance excellence.
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Play a supporting role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that support the company’s growth and competitive advantage.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing potential disruptions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Evaluate procurement data to provide actionable insights, supporting strategic conclusions and improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and other departments to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
  • Compliance and Governance: Maintain rigorous procurement documentation and compliance standards, ensuring all activities meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Technology and Process Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance procurement processes through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  • Leadership: Assist with overall team leadership to include: Managing a direct report to assist with your category, facilitation of staff meetings, interim lead when the Sr. Director is out of the office, management of other stretch duties and projects as assigned to support the team
  • Coaching and Development: Coach and develop junior staff to support less complex negotiations.
