About The Position

The Global Head of Wellbeing position at Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN, presents an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of the global wellbeing strategy. Reporting directly to the People Director of Employee Purpose and Experience, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in deploying various programs and initiatives that align with the company's People Strategy. This role is centered around championing the organization's purpose and culture while enhancing the overall employee experience. The focus on mental and physical wellbeing is integral to the company's mission to create a working environment where everyone can thrive. This commitment not only fulfills legal obligations but also reflects the company's belief in the importance of protecting health in the workplace. In this role, the Global Head of Wellbeing will be responsible for informing and supporting the development of the Group Health and Wellbeing strategy and policy. Key responsibilities include engaging with leadership and employees to promote the wellbeing agenda, leading and evaluating global employee wellbeing programs, and establishing a network of wellbeing leads to support program implementation. The role also involves collaborating with various functional Centers of Excellence and businesses to enhance employee wellbeing, developing metrics to assess the effectiveness of wellbeing programs, and representing the company in external bodies related to health and wellbeing. The candidate will need to stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact the company's approach to employee wellbeing and make necessary adjustments to improvement programs. The position requires a strong background in health and safety legislation, process improvement techniques, and experience in advising on health risk and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to lead change and drive best practices within a complex organization.
