We're seeking a future team member for the role of Global Head of Sanctions Program Management and Oversight to join our Risk & Compliance team. This role is located in New York, New York - HYBRID.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a compliance team that reviews and actions OFAC, OFSI and EU economic sanctions alert escalations
  • Identify, document, and escalate sanctions regulatory and/or internal control-related risk to internal governance committees
  • Develop and maintain Policies and Procedures
  • Conduct Training
  • Prepare Metrics and other governance reporting
  • Administer ESOS, SLMF and other Sanctions governance forums
  • Manage Issue Management
  • Oversee Regulatory exam and Audit management
  • Handle Regulatory remediations/ Uplifts
  • Conduct Risk Assessment
  • Provide other strategy or program oversight as needed by Global Head/FCC head

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of banking products/services and transactions, including SWIFT, payments, securities, trade finance
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills
  • At least 10 years sanctions experience, particularly in OFAC, OFSI and EU economic sanctions laws and regulations
