The Head of Learning Governance is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and strategic alignment of GM Global L&D’s programs by establishing and managing governance frameworks, policies and processes, without direct people management responsibilities. Key responsibilities include partnering with Heads of Functional Learning, Learning Program Managers, and L&D Leadership, defining/updating centralized processes, supporting capacity management, and driving adoption of governance standards across L&D functional groups. This position ensures that all L&D efforts comply with the central governance requirements and adhere to L&D best practices. This position monitors progress of the L&D initiatives to manage how the efforts are applying the centralized Learning and Development strategies, processes and tools. The Head of Learning Governance serves as a senior point of escalation for centralized L&D issues.
