About The Position

State Street Investment Management is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Global Head of Active Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of active fixed income and liquidity strategies across global markets, including multisector portfolios that span government, corporate, and securitized debt. The ideal candidate will bring deep investment expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering performance in complex market environments.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in active fixed income portfolio management, including multisector strategies.
• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven leadership experience managing investment teams and delivering strong performance outcomes.
• Deep understanding of global fixed income markets, instruments, and macroeconomic drivers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of active fixed income, liquidity, and multisector investment strategies.
• Oversee global active and liquidity portfolio management teams.
• Collaborate with research, trading, and risk teams to drive alpha generation and favorable risk-adjusted returns.
• Ensure alignment of investment strategies with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the Firm in client meetings, investment committees, and industry events.
• Drive innovation in portfolio construction, risk management, and investment process enhancements.
