About The Position

Global FP&A Senior Analyst or Specialist The primary responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will be supporting executive management in the assessment and communication of monthly and quarterly financial results and the development of the Company’s annual budget and business plan. This position is responsible for the global consolidation and reporting of management results and analysis of key financial performance metrics, with a primary focus on Opex / Manufacturing cost . This position is also tasked with consolidating the cash flow. This role will require direct interaction and coordination with business partners throughout the organization, both cross-functionally and across the globe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, planning and mfg finance experience
  • Solid business process understanding
  • An agile thinker able to adapt to a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Continuous improvement /Process improvement mind-set
  • English (Advanced)
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint (Proficient)
  • Manufacturing or Automotive sector experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency and standardization of Operations Finance reports and procedures in a global level. Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancy
  • Ensure consistency between production indicators and financial reporting
  • Synthesize data inputs and generate actionable insights to influence and drive outcomes that strengthen Manufacturing financial performance
  • Analyze and challenge the variances between the forecasted and actual results
  • Partner with Operations Director and manufacturing business unit stakeholders to devise solutions to drive efficiencies and maximize financial performance
  • Understand financial implications and perform sensitivities for changes in key foreign exchange and commodity rates
  • Maintain and understand key cash flow performance metrics. Consolidation and variance explanation of global performance
  • Translate complex financial data into business terms and actionable insights
  • Help maintain and improve reporting tools and templates, support automation initiatives where possible
  • Rejects the idea that status quo is always the way to go
