About The Position

Immerse yourself in our boldest design dreams, powered by brand love. The PepsiCo Global Brand Experience Design Team transports brands to entirely new settings, boldly envisioning immersive new territories that bring next-level dimension to brands across the PepsiCo portfolio. We envision and execute experiential expressions for our biggest brands, from Lay's, Cheetos, and Doritos to the UCL and FIFA, building brand love by creating a magical bond with each consumer. Under the direction and guidance of the Experience Design Lead, the Senior Experiential Designer of Brand Experience will create best-in-class activations, from major events to LTO influencer kits and from temporary pop-ups to permanent stadium installations. As a 3D artist with experience in architecture and spatial design, you'll imagine and build models and renderings all the way through to execution and fabrication. You'll touch every facet of the design process and be responsible for creative development from conceptualization through to on-site execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners both internally and externally. Successful candidates will be agile, curious, entrepreneurial, and, most importantly, passionate about pushing the boundaries of Experiential Design.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as industrial design, architecture, fine arts, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an experiential designer or in a related role is essential.
  • Experience at an agency or with an in-house design team is required (7+ years of experience).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and a wide range of design skills is also required.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling is crucial, including the ability to create detailed and realistic 3D models of environments, objects, and elements relevant to experiential design.
  • Knowledge of rendering techniques to produce high-quality visuals of 3D models is also necessary.
  • Skills in animation are beneficial for bringing designs to life.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in 3D design software is necessary.
  • Proficiency in tools such as 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Corona, or other industry-standard software is required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise as a 3D artist with experience in architecture and spatial design by imagining and building models and renderings through to execution and fabrication.
  • Collaborate with partners across the world, understanding the unique needs of their regional cultures and markets.
  • Purpose-build design toolkits that adapt and evolve with localization, establishing clear brand throughlines that each market can optimize.
  • Support creative direction for all workstreams, focusing on transformative, immersive experiences.
  • Center your work in excellence using Design Thinking - from inspiration and vision to concept, narrative, and the consumer journey.
  • Lead cross-functional creative brainstorms, leveraging Design Thinking to unlock innovative approaches to brand activations.
  • Partner with individual brand teams to identify and define experiential brand language through distinctive materials, finishes, colors, lighting, sounds, scents, and more.
  • Clearly communicate ideas through visualization and effective presentations to cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own the creative process from brief to execution, with emphasis on concept visualization.
  • Demonstrate vision and skill in defining all design elements, including identity, typography, iconography, illustrations, animations, and more.
  • Exhibit exceptional capability in specifying design materials, including textures, fabrications, and more.
  • Develop a reputation for leadership, reliability, and excellence - while bringing out the best in others.
  • Balance creative ideation with effective project management: envision world-class executions and manage projects efficiently.
  • Extend your impact by connecting with the right freelancers and agency partners.

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
