About The Position

Mid-Pacifics Global Exchange Academy (GlobalX) seeks to influence the lives of students in the U.S., Asia, the Pacific, and beyond through a blended learning platform that offers traditional, experiential, and certificate-based courses. Through Mid-Pacifics GlobalX programs, students from elementary age through adults have access to a robust academic portfolio to pursue their passions and advance their academic, co-curricular, and professional goals through summer school, community-based learning (internships/externships), and other innovative and engaging programs. Programs range from credit-bearing courses to less formal explorations of the performing arts, athletics, robotics, culinary, and community-based problems, as well as explorations into inquiry-driven projects. GlobalX works in tandem with Mid-Pacifics Kupu Hou Academy, the schools professional learning department, to offer opportunities for teacher candidates, teacher leaders, and school leaders to sharpen their craft of deeper learning through professional development programs tied directly to GlobalX student programs. Working in close partnership with the Director of the Global Exchange Academy (Director of GlobalX) and alongside the GlobalX Innovations Manager, the GlobalX Program Manager plays an essential role in the planning, management, and execution of all GlobalX programs. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality program delivery through effective program management, scheduling, instructor and vendor coordination, and operational execution across all GlobalX offerings. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in both curricular and co-curricular program management and execution ideally within preschool to 12th-grade, enrichment, or experiential learning environments. This role focuses on overseeing day-to-day program operations, managing instructors and vendors, coordinating logistics, and ensuring programs are delivered consistently, safely, and in alignment with GlobalXs mission and strategic goals. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. The GlobalX Program Manager works closely with internal departments and external partners to support enrollment growth, instructional quality, and participant satisfaction. Attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are critical to sustaining successful programs and supporting the launch of new offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven program coordination / project management experience with strong skills in organization, planning, and execution, ideally within a preschool to 12th-grade (PS12) educational environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, schedules, and program logistics simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in database management systems, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.), and various communication platforms (written, oral, and digital).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey and share information.
  • Knowledgeable about current trends in Education, Arts, and Technology, auxiliary programming, and the Hawaii preschool to 12th-grade school landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with departments, including academic offices, Business Office, Human Resources, and Communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited university or college.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in program coordination / project management / educational program management, preferably in preschool to 12th grade or enrichment settings.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage not only program goals, stakeholders, and outcomes but also effectively managing the logistics of implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of GlobalX programs to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Director of GlobalX and the GlobalX Innovations Manager to plan, develop, and implement program offerings and course schedules across all GlobalX programs.
  • Plan and coordinate course schedules, calendars, and staffing plans for all GlobalX programs.
  • Recruit, vet, onboard, and manage GlobalX instructors and vendors; coordinate contracts, orientation, and ongoing communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all Hawaii Department of Human Services requirements for After School Care.
  • Select, review, and approve curriculum, instructional materials, and program resources in collaboration with the Director of GlobalX.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for instructors and vendors regarding program expectations, logistics, and execution.
  • Collaborate with the GlobalX Innovations Manager to monitor program participation, enrollment trends, and instructor performance; recommend adjustments to scheduling, staffing, or offerings as needed.
  • Support the development and implementation of registration schedules, enrollment processes, and supporting materials in collaboration with the CAE Database Manager.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from instructors, participants, and families to inform program improvements and future planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational challenges and recommending solutions.
  • Manage programs with an attention to detail and accuracy

  • Provide support to GlobalX instructors and vendors through training, monitoring performance and initiating action to strengthen results, coaching and developing required skills, and conducting timely performance evaluations.

  • Ensure that employees are aware of and abide by all relevant safety procedures.
  • Encourage early reporting of incidents and forward information to Manager and Human Resources immediately.
