Raytheon’s Legal, Compliance, and Contracts (LCC) organization is seeking an experienced Compliance Investigator to join our Global Ethics and Compliance (GEC) Investigations team. The Compliance Investigator is responsible for leading and conducting internal investigations related to allegations of potential violations of legal and regulatory requirements and/or Raytheon’s Code of Conduct, drafting disclosures and/or reports regarding verified violations (as applicable), and coordinating with business stakeholders to assess root cause and to develop corrective actions. The Compliance Investigator will conduct investigations into alleged violations of certain government contracting laws and regulations (False Claims Act, labor mischarging, etc.) and company policy (finance, conflict of interest, Code of Conduct, etc.). The Compliance Investigator will be a member of Raytheon’s GEC team within the LCC organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct all aspects of investigations of potential violations of Company policies and/or law including certain government contracting laws.
  • Analyze allegations and investigation findings to determine regulatory and other external reporting requirements and draft disclosures and reports for submission to government agencies and/or internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Partner with stakeholders to conduct root cause analyses and develop, manage, and validate effective corrective action plans.
  • Partner and work collaboratively with members of the GEC team and stakeholders across the Company to provide investigation status updates and report on trends, compliance risks, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years’ compliance investigations experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 10 years’ experience.
  • Experience working in or on behalf of an Aerospace and Defense manufacturing environment.
  • Investigations experience related to government contracting (e.g., Department of Defense Office of Inspector General investigations and disclosures, False Claims Act, time charging) and 5+ years of investigations experience related to corporate ethics and compliance matters (e.g., Code of Conduct).
  • Experience conducting investigations with minimal daily supervision and experience briefing matters to business stakeholders.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
