About The Position
Morgan Stanley at Work provides a service which is designed to simplify the complexities of employee equity plan management, while helping employees realize the full potential of their benefits. As part of this group, our dedicated team of equity plan specialists in Global Intelligence partner with law firms across the world to deliver a cost effective employee equity plan compliance management service for global private and public companies, ensuring clients have the information they need to successfully operate their plans. Our Global Intelligence platform provides direct support and expertise including tax and legal information, tax guides, project management tools and additional resources for over 150 jurisdictions. Our tax withholding product for non-mobile, mobile and 3rd party tax calculations within equity administration platforms enables clients to apply the required rates and withholding positions and provides visibility and clarity to participants on how and why tax is applied to equity compensation. Located in Calgary, Alberta, or Tempe, AZ or San Francisco, CA and reporting to the Vice President, Global Intelligence Information Team Manager, the Global Equity Tax Specialist, Assistant Vice President role leads in ensuring the Global Intelligence platform accurately reflects information confirmed by third-party information providers on the tax and legal implications arising from the operation of equity plans in each jurisdiction covered by the platform.
