Mercer University Office of Global Education is seeking a recently returned study abroad student for the position of Global Education Student Intern. The Global Education Student Intern is the first contact point for Mercer students interested in studying abroad. As a member of the OGE staff, this individual will help promote study abroad programs to a variety of Mercer campus organizations. The role of the Global Education Student Intern will be primarily on specific outreach, programming, and event planning projects. Acting as the Global Education Student Intern will provide opportunities to develop leadership skills, skills in public speaking, research, cross-cultural communication, public relations, and marketing. This is a paid position consisting of approximately 10 hours per week for the duration of the academic year. Standard work hours are between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, though some evening and weekend hours may be required.
