As part of the ICAT network, AVA Global Logistics represents our specialized division focused on secure, high-value asset transportation, including banknotes, refined and unrefined precious metals, and other valuable commodities. To support AVA’s expansion into additional high-value sectors and further strengthen ICAT’s capabilities, we are looking for top-tier talent to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced Global Director of Supply Management – Valuables-in-Transit (VIT) to lead the development and execution of global supplier strategies across our secure logistics network. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing global relationships with Valuables-in-Transit providers, armored transport companies, and secure logistics partners, ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement of cash and valuables worldwide. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global valuables-in-transit supply strategy within a growing international organization, working closely with senior leadership and key industry partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in logistics or secure transportation, with strong exposure to VIT or secure ground transportation
  • Proven success managing global supplier relationships and contract negotiations
  • Experience in managing multimillion-dollar logistics procurement budgets
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence across global, matrixed organizations
  • Commitment to security, compliance, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global VIT supplier and sourcing strategies
  • Manage relationships with VIT providers, secure storage and secure ground transportation partners and ground handlers globally
  • Lead contract negotiations and supplier performance management
  • Ensure compliance with international security, banking, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive cost optimization, operational excellence, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with internal teams to support network expansion and supplier capability development
  • Lead implementations like barcode scanning and physical trackers in countries around the world
