About The Position

As a strategic HR leader in a dynamic scaling technology company, the Director HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and their leadership teams. This role is both a player-coach and a trusted advisor to executive and senior business leaders driving organizational effectiveness by aligning business goals and people strategies. Primary focus is 'high-value' HR delivery providing an optimal ROI. You'll make and drive data-driven decisions and partner closely with business leaders to lead organizational design, talent planning & strategy, executive coaching, culture shaping, and workforce planning. This role will lead a team of experienced HR Business Partners in delivering strategic HR support to the company’s executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years progressive HR experience including 5+ years in a senior HRBP role and 3+ years in a leadership HRBP role supporting senior executives.
  • Experience managing a team of HRBPs in a global, data-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in global 'tech.'
  • Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders in a high-growth or technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success driving OD, talent transformation, and change management.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence senior leaders and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Strategic thinker with business acumen and agility to shift from vision to execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR partner to executive leaders (CEO direct reports) influencing at the highest levels to align talent strategies to business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners to effectively support global business leaders.
  • Lead large-scale organizational design and transformation initiatives to support growth, agility, and scalability.
  • Architect and drive strategic workforce planning in partnership with Finance, recruiting, and business leaders.
  • Serve as a coach and strategic advisor to senior executives and strengthen executive leadership capability and team dynamics.
  • Design and implement strategies for culture evolution, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Lead cross-functional talent initiatives (e.g. succession planning, leadership development, DEI).
  • Act as a liaison between business leaders and the broader HR function to co-create and deploy strategic HR programs.
  • Design and deliver talent strategies for both Hyland commercial growth and LCR (low cost region sourcing) for functions/client groups supported.
  • Use data and insights to drive evidence-based decisions to facilitate organizational goal achievement through building a sustainable bench of high performing, engaged, and retained talent.
