About The Position

Global Demand Manager Huntsman is seeking a Global Demand Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Division , located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Global Demand & Supply Director. Job Scope The Global Demand Manager leads and coordinates global demand management activities within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, with a strong focus on the Americas and EMEAI regions. This role ensures alignment between demand plans and regional functions including Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, while highlighting risks, opportunities, and scenarios to support profitable growth. The position also drives standardization and continuous improvement of demand planning processes in collaboration with Supply Chain Excellence. In summary, as the Global Demand Manager, you will: Own and manage the Global Demand Plan for the Advanced Materials Division within the IBP framework. Lead Americas and EMEAI Business Reviews, ensuring strong integration between demand plans and cross‑functional stakeholders. Partner with APAC IBP stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency of demand plans. Identify and communicate key risks and opportunities related to demand, capacity, regional imbalances, and financial gaps. Act as the central point of contact for global demand management, with primary focus on AMER and EMEAI regions. Align demand and financial data, incorporating growth plans, commercial opportunities, and promotions. Collaborate closely with regional Finance teams to integrate demand plans into financial forecasts. Translate external market factors into demand insights and support business simulations and scenario planning. Lead and develop a team of regional demand planning managers (2–4 direct reports), ensuring timely submissions, data accuracy, and clarity of assumptions. Drive process optimization, harmonization, and standardization of demand planning methodologies across regions. Deliver improvements in forecast accuracy, working capital efficiency, and service levels.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business management, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Demand Management, S&OP, or IBP within a global or regional organization.
  • Proven experience working cross‑functionally with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including leading and developing regional or global teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across Business, Production, and Supply Chain.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • High analytical capability with strong data‑driven decision making.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and mobilize teams toward common objectives.
  • Strong project management mindset with a deep focus on process design and continuous improvement.
  • Customer‑focused, results‑oriented, and capable of managing complexity in a global environment.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish in addition to English.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, IBM Planning Analytics (PA), and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience driving global standardization initiatives across multiple regions.
