About The Position

The Global and DeKalb Production Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production across Change Church campuses. This role provides leadership, direction, and technical expertise to ensure excellence in live production, audio-visual management, and cross-campus standardization. The Production Director will manage budgets, equipment, volunteers, and staff while fostering innovation and maintaining alignment with Change Church's vision for an exceptional in-person and online worship experience. Responsibilities

  • Serve in excellence by being early and prepared for all scheduled meetings.
  • Establish and foster an exemplary relationship with staff/non-staff workers, church membership, and the community at large.
  • Demonstrate a servant’s heart by having a willingness to perform other duties as needs may arise.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to production directors, majors, and contractors across all campuses.
  • Steward the overall function, health, and vision for live production, live video production, and technical operations at all locations.
  • Oversee all live production operations through the Technical Director and Video Director, ensuring excellence in execution.
  • Foster cross-campus standardization for production processes, equipment usage, and volunteer engagement.
  • Create and manage budgets for personnel, equipment, and inventory, submitting in a timely manner.
  • Analyze the operation of all production equipment across campuses, providing cost-effective improvement suggestions.
  • Manage and track technical equipment inventory, ensuring all assets are logged and accounted for in the database.
  • Schedule, host, and facilitate training sessions for production-related departments across campuses.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers and technical staff, building a strong production team.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for new and existing team members to maintain excellence in production.
  • Build Dream Teams to operate Audio, Lighting and Multimedia Systems for all Campus Needs (Including Change Kidz, Choir Rehearsals, Bible Study, Etc)
  • Create Training Resources to be delivered to all locations
  • Provide oversight and management of audio-visual systems, including ProPresenter, ensuring weekly service content is built for all campuses (songs, sermon notes, graphics).
  • Troubleshoot technical equipment issues and oversee repairs to ensure optimum performance.
  • Ensure live stream campuses are fully supported weekly for an excellent in-person and online experience.
  • Oversee technical and production-related requests for all campuses, ensuring all gatherings and events have appropriate support.
  • Oversee the production and engineering design for special events, ensuring all technical aspects meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align production strategies with the church's mission and vision.
  • Work closely with campus leaders to implement consistent production standards and practices across locations.
  • Provide input on new technologies and innovations to enhance the worship and production experience.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
