About The Position
A summer intern joining the GCSA team within the Company’s Legal Department will have the opportunity to participate in Corporate Governance related matters for State Street. The role will provide support across a broad spectrum of areas including corporate governance, securities law, corporate secretarial and administration services, legal entity management and shareholder communications. The summer intern will have exposure to the Company’s annual proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, supporting the Company’s Board of Directors by assisting in the organization and preparation of meeting materials, evaluating shareholder engagement practices, conducting regulatory analyses and gaining an understanding of legal entity management. The role will also be project focused conducting research, analyzing best practices in this space and helping to develop the team’s technology opportunities.
