About The Position

The Global Controller will lead all global accounting operations for WDTS, including U.S. headquarters and foreign subsidiaries in Macau, India, Australia, and the Philippines. This role owns the global close, multi-currency consolidation, accounting policy creation and enforcement, internal controls, audits, oversight of 3rd party tax, and compliance. The Controller will directly manage local accounting staff in each region and oversee a U.S.-based third-party accounting firm. The mandate is clear: establish consistent policies, enforce discipline, eliminate gaps, and ensure WDTS operates with audit-ready financials at all times.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience as a Controller in a multinational environment
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and IFRS
• Hands-on experience with international subsidiaries and consolidations
• Proven ability to design and enforce accounting policies and controls
• Strong audit leadership experience (U.S. and international)
• NetSuite experience required
• Experience managing third-party accounting firms
• Experience in companies with software and hardware revenues
• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with investor reporting and transfer pricing
• Exposure to Asia-Pacific accounting environments
• Background in scaling organizations or control remediation
