The position is focused on providing commercial management expertise to ensure the Company engages in best commercial practices, manages and mitigates risks, and contributes to strategic development. Key responsibilities include risk management through the review and negotiation of commercial and contractual terms, coordination of tenders and vendor pre-qualifications, and maintaining updated internal and external supply chain management databases.

  • Develop suitable global use quotation and tender template formats including framework of special terms.
  • Provide global commercial expertise with consideration to general risk awareness and best commercial advantage.
  • Ensure the tendering process is undertaken consistently, in full compliance with both Company process and client instruction.
  • Manage the preparation of global pre-qualifications, QHSE questionnaires and vendor assessments in conjunction with the respective entity HSE/QA-QC departments.
  • Lead process improvements, aligning tender and project processes, working collaboratively with other departments.
  • Manage Company global standard terms and conditions of rental, with replication/amendment to suit specific regional entities.
  • Review and manage client draft contractual terms and MSA requirements for Corporate Legal review.
  • Conduct direct negotiation of terms with clients, managing and mitigating Company risk and ensuring commercial and technical completeness.
  • Management of contract execution process and upload to Company contract database.
  • Regional/Country Agent/Representative Agreements management to ensure appropriate governance and build robust relationships.
  • Sanctions/Due Diligence compliance focal point for provision of information and guidance support.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for industry events.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral is up to date and generate new content to support business development efforts.
  • Initiate, compile, and finalize commercial proposals and tenders for clients.
  • Preparation and management of outbound marketing communications materials.
  • Strong commercial management expertise.
  • Experience in risk management and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in preparing tenders and vendor pre-qualifications.
  • Ability to manage internal resources and external supply chain databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in global commercial practices and regulations.
  • Familiarity with QHSE standards and vendor assessments.
  • Knowledge of regional taxation and foreign currency regulations.
  • Experience in managing logistics for industry events.
