Internship Program Overview At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their careers, all while making a giant impact. We offer 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions. Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, and team-building activities. Additionally, interns will have access to online learnings and a dedicated summer coach to further grow their careers with us. Communications Intern Overview We have three different teams with open roles. Please see details about each team and their role below: Employee Communications Intern Help lead communications to drive employee engagement and increase adoption of our digital employee experience on the ServiceNow platform Assist in supporting ongoing content governance management and best practices on our key employee channels. Help reimagine our in-office digital signage content testing new, fresh content ideas across key areas and spaces. Assist with cultural moments and other milestone employee experiences Support our Now at Work channel including keeping the tips and best practices fresh, creating KBs as needed, and leading a small-scale promotion campaign with specific targeted audiences. Create our Now Insider bi-weekly newsletter (compile and edit images, draft copy, etc.). Support Talent Brand Employee Activation by drafting engaging social-first copy for employee stories for our Social Ambassadors platform. Public Relations Intern Communicate complex topics effectively and create a range of content, from press releases and blogs and social posts to executive briefing materials and creative briefs, within the enterprise technology landscape. Expand relationships with media. Manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges. Support PR strategies for driving media coverage, working closely with subject matter experts, executives, internal thought leaders and PR agency team. Collaborate with global PR teams on driving successful launches, announcements, PR programs, and other awareness opportunities globally. Monitor industry and market-related news and events to assess opportunities for rapid response and dedicated media outreach. Support the partner ecosystem through announcements and campaigns. Executive Social Intern As a member of this team, you'll be part of the growing executive social media function, which is focused on organizing, elevating, and executing strategic social campaigns for our senior leaders that ladder up to key company moments. Key Responsibilities Support coordination of executive social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader communications strategies and established guidelines Learn the nuances of executive social media management, including platform best practices, current program curriculum, and via upcoming CMS training Draft and refine foundational documents, including program exec briefs, reporting, and analytics tracking Attend the LinkedIn Executives editorial training program and provide key takeaways to help inform our existing documentation Monitor social media trends and competitive executive presence to inform strategy and content recommendations Make updates to our broader comms calendar and other key resources Gain exposure to our paid program, with the opportunity to be hands-on in ad launches
