Observing, analysing and classifying global procurement markets for various product groups (e.g. metal, plastic) Developing and implementing the global strategy, taking internal and external factors into account Defining, managing and optimising the supplier portfolio, including the global distribution of purchasing volumes Negotiation for framework and individual contracts as well as the design of pricing structures in the assigned product group Identifying and realising potential savings and efficiency gains Project management of strategic procurement projects This role is not a people leadership position.
