As a key member of the global sourcing team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. The Global Category Manager evaluates, selects, and manages vendor partnerships. A typical sourcing manager is responsible for all approximately $45Million dollars of direct material spend managing electronics including: motors, blowers, fans and power supplies, box build finished good devices, and other electronic subassembly components.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience progressive experience in Sourcing and Procurement, Purchasing, and Supply Inventory planning with a proven ability to lead change.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working with a global supply chain in the electronics environment – ideally with exposure to complex BOM’s and ability to secure components for critical items going EOL.
  • Experience in common MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite is required.
  • Experience in negotiation and contract development is required.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills from the board room to point of impact including upper management and suppliers is required.
  • Ability to lead teams (including cross-functional teams) from creation of charter and change process through successful implementation of improvements is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with commercial teams, production teams, distribution teams, and customer service teams is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of the strategic sourcing procurement lifecycle and procurement best practices and methods and can demonstrate how this knowledge has been applied to optimize category profitability and supplier performance.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating executive management meetings.
  • Strong project and process management to execute supply strategy for assigned categories with cross functional teams.
  • Expertise with contract requirements to negotiate critical terms and conditions in line with category strategy.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time; both domestic and international travel (Tijuana, Mexico) is required.
  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-3 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
  • Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • Experience in a high-growth or technology-driven organization.
  • Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices and supplier diversity initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned commodities/categories that are utilized in Prevention & Recovery Business Units.
  • Primary point of contact with suppliers and owner of the commercial relationship between ENOVIS and suppliers.
  • Analyze direct material spend to identify opportunities for cost improvement, supplier consolidation, and simplification.
  • Directs and executes budgetary cost reduction programs and initiatives that facilitate business owners achieving their business unit goals and financial targets.
  • Assures the appropriate use of capital and financial resources.
  • Generates analytics to support these positions.
  • Lead supplier contract negotiations on behalf of ENOVIS.
  • Monitor supplier performance against key metrics of cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Deliver year-over-year cost savings through vendor negotiations, alternate sourcing, and material simplification.
  • Develop and execute the long-term sourcing strategy to achieve “best source” material sourcing considering total landed cost, region of origin, quality, and lead time.
  • Facilitates Supplier Relationship Management through development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators for the category; establishes collaborative environment with key suppliers and business partners to optimize supplier performance and innovation.
  • Perform data analysis and utilize financial acumen to identify opportunities to leverage scale and drive cost savings.
