About the position

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Global Category Manager, Outside Processing (OSP) [Aerospace]. This position can be based in our Beachwood, OH; Fort Worth, TX; Irvine, CA; Moon Township, PA; or Southfield, MI location. The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Responsibilities

• Develops and implements commodity strategies in line with Corporate, Divisional, and site initiatives to improve supply chain efficiencies, ensure resiliency, and reduce the total cost of supply chain management.
• Develops and owns supplier relationships for strategic initiatives to implement cross-business synergies across a rationalized set of global and regional preferred supplier partners.
• Develop, implement and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationships.
• Develop and implement Supply chain solutions, including VMI, supplier consignment stock etc where applicable.
• Ensure compliance of suppliers with Eaton SCM Sustainability Programs, Go GREEN initiatives and SCM policies.
• Plan, prepare and execute annual Profit Planning and long-term Strategic Plans for the owned spend.
• Develop innovative business solutions, forecast commodity projections and provide mitigation actions as applicable.
• Develop global communication plans and share new planning tools, methods, technical analysis, standards and procurement opportunities with senior management.
• Undertake spend analysis, supplier assessment and supplier selection to agreed processes.
• Provides commodity support to New Program Teams as required including specifications, costs, and schedules.
• Negotiations and management of cost models for suppliers.
• Prepare and Lead Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers annually.
• Capacity analysis and management, technical know-how of OSP requirements, strong industry associations, Government requirements/regulations & investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations, Program Management.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
• Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of one of our listed site locations to be considered.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• Professional Supply Chain related certification (e.g. CPM, CPIM).
• MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain from an accredited institution.
• Multi-lingual (English, French, German).
• 2-3 years professional negotiating experience in a global business environment.
• 3-5 years' professional experience with accountability across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• 3-5 years' professional experience in Category Management.
• 3-5 years' direct industry experience in the Outside Processing environment (preferably coatings, surface treatment, etc.).
