About The Position

Servier in the U.S. is a Boston-based, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company launched by Servier Group in 2018. As a privately held organization, Servier is uniquely positioned to advance cutting-edge science, tackle underserved therapeutic areas and make patients the focus of every strategic decision. Role Summary The intern will work closely with experienced biostatisticians and cross-functional partners to support statistical analyses for clinical trials, real-world evidence and virtual patient topics. The intern will conduct a comprehensive review of existing statistical methods and implement algorithms.  The intern will report to and collaborate closely with industry statisticians throughout the project.  This role offers hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical research and development, along with valuable mentorship from experienced statisticians.

Requirements

  • PhD student or candidate in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong programming or software development experience in R, Python, or a similar language
  • Strong statistical simulation experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of an industry statistician mentor to conduct methodology research and develop statistical packages
  • Implement algorithms and develop the associated workflow
  • Explore innovative or advanced statistical methodologies under mentorship
  • Document methods and results in accordance with regulatory and company standards
  • Present project results to colleagues and the department management at the conclusion of the summer internship
