About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Experience communicating finance concepts including securitization capital structures and legal lending terms to senior management.
  • Conducting credit risk research and analysis.
  • Analyzing debt instruments and participating in the debt ratings process.
  • Using business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as financial databases like Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Analyzing and interpreting credit documents for financing transactions.
  • Working with data analysis tools and methodologies, including cash flow modeling.
  • Conducting analysis on a broad range of assets and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze capital structures and advise debt issuers on leverage, liquidity, maturity management, indenture covenants, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare detailed analysis for CFOs and finance staff on financing optimization strategies related to asset-based funding.
  • Engage and coordinate with external parties including outside counsel, third-party accounting firms, rating agencies, and trustees.
  • Structure and prepare transaction documentation and offering materials including asset stratifications and cashflow models.
  • Execute securitization transactions by preparing marketing materials and speaking directly with investors.
  • Prepare external models and presentations, including capital structure analysis and loan valuation.
  • Present to clients the methodology and reasoning behind the analysis.
  • Review Credit Agreements, Loan Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Offering Memorandums related to securitizations and asset purchases.
  • Coordinate internal processes with deal team members to ensure compliance and internal checks are satisfied.
  • Prepare training materials and lead training sessions for interns and junior analysts.
  • Review and enhance internal processes to improve workflow efficiency and minimize operational risk.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $175,000 - $275,000.
  • All travel reimbursed by the Firm.
