About The Position
The Loan Management team is a business unit within the Global Markets Division, primarily supporting the Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance desks. The team is a multi-faceted diligence and asset management platform specializing in whole loan acquisition, sales, securitizations, and financing opportunities. The Loan Management team has product expertise across mortgages, consumer loans, real estate and warehouse financing. Loan Management is seeking an Associate that will assist the Transaction Management team in facilitating due diligence (at both the trade and asset levels) of residential backed portfolios for acquisitions, sales and securitizations. This role requires expertise in residential mortgage title processes, including resolving complex title issues such as, Municipal Code Violations, DQ HOA, DQ Taxes, Municipal Liens, Partial Interest Challenges, and title policy analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of super lien states, statutes impacting mortgage lien positions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate and timely results.
