Job Description: This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes to establish testing scope and coordinate test execution. Key responsibilities include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements and conditioning and generating test data. Job expectations include building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed. The AML Platform Management Team is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Testing Specialist to support ongoing enhancements and management of the AWARE workflow tool, which underpins end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) processes across all GBAM business lines and jurisdictions. This role is responsible for end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including: Planning and executing test scripts. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects. Providing timely updates to test leads and management. The position requires close collaboration with Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure testing aligns with regulatory and business requirements. Additionally, the team validates functionality and usability of new or updated software prior to deployment, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder expectations and deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management and QA methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to meet tight timelines for releases and iteration deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Horizon Jira testing modules and standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting SLAs and strict deadlines.
  • Positive approach to change and ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Pega Client Lifecycle Management or other AML/KYC platforms supporting onboarding and refresh processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Ensures stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria
  • Leads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage
  • Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
  • Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
  • Completes testing on a given test environment, and performs necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments
  • Identifies automation opportunities and develops test automation for applicable test types
  • Manage and execute the full UAT lifecycle for platform changes.
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet stakeholder requirements and business objectives.
  • Partner with developers and SMEs to provide actionable feedback and drive quality improvements.
  • Support validation testing at the conclusion of change delivery to confirm compliance and functionality.
