The Global Account Executive is responsible for overseeing all commercial activities at all touch points in the global client organization as part of the long term key account and global Commercial Vehicles strategies. The role ensures optimal revenue growth, gross margin (contribution margin), customer satisfaction, and the application of Metalsa's commercial best practices. The executive is accountable for leading and facilitating the integration of multiple cross-functional experts into a seamless global account team, building global account team capabilities to support a long-term, economically sustainable partnership with the client. Collaboration with other Global Account Executives (GAEs) is essential to improve the effectiveness of global account strategies. The position involves implementing commercial elements of the CV strategy related to a specific Global account in collaboration with Regional Commercial Coordinators, including global opportunity identification, contributing to the development of winning Value Propositions, influencing customer stakeholders regarding Metalsa's global capabilities, presenting and negotiating winning Value Propositions and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs). The executive will follow CRM best practices to implement account strategies for a specific global client and lead the global account team to execute a consistent, multi-regional account development plan in response to global client needs. Additionally, the role includes advising Value Proposition teams during the preparation of RFQ responses, negotiating commitments and pricing of LTAs, and building a compelling case regarding the value of the Metalsa Value Proposition and competitive advantage to GAE accounts. The executive will also provide feedback to the organization regarding competitive trends and emerging customer requirements, develop and provide input to annual and 5-year sales revenue and gross margin budgets, and support financial and supply chain manufacturing demand planning. The role requires quantifying and prioritizing future customer vehicle platforms and needs, providing feedback on competitive trends and customer requirements, and participating in improvement teams as needed. The Global Account Executive will lead, build, and manage excellent GAE customer relationships and customer satisfaction in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Coordinator, positioning Metalsa as a customer-centric preferred supplier. The executive will seek and act upon customer feedback, understand customer needs and competitive strategies, and solve customer problems while representing the Metalsa brand in all interactions with global accounts. Building strategic partnerships with GAE accounts based on the key elements of the Metalsa Brand - Innovation, Quality, and People - is crucial. The executive will ensure that account management strategies and tactics are consistent with the desired customer experience and communicate the voice of the customer inside the organization to ensure that internal capabilities deliver the intended Metalsa Brand experience. Collaboration with all CV functions is necessary to ensure optimal growth of the CV business, including new business development, opportunity identification, assessments and LTA negotiation, market and industry intelligence, identifying existing and new customer technical and service requirements, sales and demand forecasting, and improving customer satisfaction. The executive will lead, promote, and support the Metalsa Culture by communicating the core benefits and message of One Metalsa, ensuring that all global account team members are role models of the desired Metalsa Culture.
