Solairus Aviation is currently searching for a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at the KVNY airport. The ideal candidate will need to be a team player while seeking excellence in every aspect of their performance. This role is crucial in ensuring that the flight department operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting the travel needs of clients while adhering to Solairus' unique culture of service, safety, and integrity. The CAM will supervise assigned personnel, ensuring compliance with Solairus policies, FAA regulations, and other applicable guidelines. This includes monitoring the personal appearance, dress code, and conduct of all personnel to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. The CAM will also be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and reviewing training for crew and maintenance personnel, ensuring that all training is conducted with the appropriate contractors. They will develop scheduling procedures with clients to promote reliable and efficient aircraft scheduling, and will approve and schedule Personal Time Off (PTO) for all assigned personnel. Regular communication with the flight coordinator regarding aircraft schedule changes and other operational matters is essential. The CAM will conduct meetings with personnel to coordinate activities, address issues, and promote goodwill within the team. In addition to these responsibilities, the CAM will participate in the interview process for new personnel, solicit input from the Client Responsible Officer on operational and administrative issues, and ensure timely submission of training records and other operational data. The role also involves promoting customer goodwill through high-quality service and maintaining the business reputation of Solairus Aviation. The CAM will actively participate in the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and will be familiar with SMS policies and procedures, ensuring that safety remains a top priority in all operations.
