About The Position

The Systems Software Engineering team ensures that the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts permeate and create happiness within Modeling, Simulation & Training. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 – June 2026. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

Requirements

• Experience with Object Oriented Programming, preferably C++ or C#
• Ability to troubleshoot and assess software errors and implement solutions
• Familiar with continuous integration tools like Gitlab
• Experience with controls hardware

Nice To Haves

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
• Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of guest throughput attraction models
• Help build Hardware-In-The-Loop test beds for attractions
• Develop our in-house tools built off the C++ and C# framework
