About The Position

A glazier fabricates, selects, cuts, installs, replaces, and removes commercial and artistic glass, aluminum storefront frames and entrances, glass handrails, curtain wall framing, terra-cotta/panel systems and entire building facades along with the window systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to work with common construction hand and power tools.
• Comply with all Federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, select, cut, install, replace, and remove commercial and artistic glass.
• Work with aluminum storefront frames and entrances.
• Install glass handrails and curtain wall framing.
• Handle terra-cotta/panel systems and entire building facades.
• Manage window systems.
