About The Position

Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Glazier Apprentice to join our skilled construction team in Oshkosh, WI. Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
You must have a valid driver's license, strong attendance, and the ability to travel to various job sites throughout the state.
Experience with hand and power tools is required, along with basic math skills and the ability to read ruler measurements.
Physical strength, stamina, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
Eager to learn, willing to work hard, and ready to contribute to a team-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

Construction, carpentry, or commercial glass experience is preferred but not required.
The ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in installing glass and glazing systems on commercial buildings, including storefront doors and systems, curtain walls, skylights, and large-scale window installations.
Learn to work with materials such as glass, composite panels, and polycarbonate while supporting the installation of aluminum storefront and curtain wall framing systems.
Help measure and cut materials
Prepare work areas
Remove old or damaged glass
Seal and weatherproofing installations.
Read and follow blueprints and shop drawings
Maintain tools and equipment.
Work closely with foremen, project managers, and customers to ensure high-quality results.
Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment at all times.
