About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Glaucoma to expand our academic practice. There is an immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice within a well-established, longstanding department supported by a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to providing excellence in patient care, ample opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research initiatives and innovative educational programs within an academic medical center. Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency program
  • Postgraduate fellowship training in Glaucoma
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Licensure (or eligibility) to practice medicine in the State of Florida
