About The Position

The Glasshouse Product Shipper and Handler reports to the Unit Manager or Assistant Unit Manager and assists in everyday operations of the Glasshouse sales area including, but not limited to, shipping prepaid, wholesale, and transfer orders.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure.
• Mathematical ability.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Valid drivers’ license.
• Ability to travel independently to all facilities in the region.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise at Glasshouse and Offsite facilities, and complete related paperwork.
• Pack and store items in the appropriate areas of the warehouses, under stocks, or other storage facilities.
• Stock store shelves completely and ensure adequate quantities of product are stored under stock.
• Fully stock packing materials, including padded bags, under the cash wrap.
• Pick, pack, ship, and complete paperwork for pre-paid, wholesale, and transfer orders.
• General office work as assigned, including but, not limited to, bank runs, pricing, and interpretive text stocking.
• Assist with physical inventories as needed.
• Because each location is unique, may have other duties assigned that are based on an individual location's particular characteristic or requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by position.
