Glass Handler 7pm-7am
About The Position
Job Duties: Wear required safety gear at all times. Operate the breakout area to meet or exceed productivity goals and quality expectations. Handle and process glass in a safe and efficient manner. Perform all equipment checks and PM’s prior to shift start. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Conduct yourself in a professional manner with co-workers. Maintain equipment and area in tour ready condition. Hold yourself accountable for your actions. Operate forklift and Rico in a safe and effective manner. Will conduct himself/herself in a manner consistent with supporting and promoting the Values of our team. Those being to demonstrate good Team Work, Integrity, a Positive Attitude, and Safety … TIPS. Any reasonable duty as assigned Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer and organizational skills. Mechanically inclined. Ability to communicate and work well with others in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to read and follow instructions. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to operate motorized equipment. Position requires regular, in-person attendance at the plant. Ability to work with and as part of a team including but not limited to the Plant Manager, managers, employees throughout Cardinal, and vendor partnerships Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the PLANT team, Cardinal and other company relationships Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times Physical Requirements Job includes some overtime, evening, and weekend hours. Ability to lift 15 lbs or more.
