About The Position

Responsible for managing accounting staff, preparing and analyzing journal entries, month/year-end closings, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting warehouse branches. Reports to the Assistant Controller and supports the Accounting/Finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or 5-10 years finance experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, 4+ years in accounting

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily General Ledger operations and staff assignments
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting (GAAP)
  • Prepare and analyze journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statements
  • Summarize financial status with balance sheet, P&L, and related reports
  • Coordinate complex accounting projects across departments
  • Identify process improvements and research technical accounting issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
