About The Position

We have an immediate long-term opportunity for an experienced GKE Kubernetes Engineer to join our cloud operations and infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes platforms on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) in production-grade environments. This role requires an engineer with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills who can operate effectively in a 24x7 support setting, manage high-priority incidents, and ensure the stability and scalability of Kubernetes clusters and workloads. To be successful in this position, one needs to be highly skilled in automating infrastructure and application deployments using CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or Jenkins, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, and deploying workloads to GKE. The role also requires proficiency in GitOps methodologies using tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD to ensure declarative configuration management and continuous delivery. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and Helm charts is essential for managing and scaling Kubernetes environments efficiently. Candidates with a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar Kubernetes certification will be strongly preferred. A deep understanding of container orchestration, monitoring, and best practices for cloud-native operations within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will distinguish top candidates for this opportunity.
