About The Position
Leadpoint Business Services is actively seeking several General Laborers to join our team at the recycling plant located in Troy, MI. This full-time position involves sorting recyclable materials, contributing to environmental sustainability, and ensuring that our planet is protected. As a General Laborer, you will work collaboratively with a team, and there are numerous opportunities for advancement based on your teamwork and individual performance. Importantly, no prior experience is required for this role; we value a good attitude and a willingness to learn above all else. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting various recyclable materials, ensuring that they are processed correctly and efficiently. You will be part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in the recycling process, helping to reduce waste and promote sustainability. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, as well as adherence to safety protocols. We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $14.00 per hour, along with additional incentives based on performance. After 90 days of employment, you will have access to health, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as paid time off that begins to accumulate. We also provide company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety vests, masks, hard hats, protective eyeglasses, gloves, and arm shields to ensure your safety while on the job. Additionally, our facility includes an employee lunchroom equipped with a refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Weekly pay is also a benefit of this position.
