About The Position

We are seeking a talented GitHub Architect to design and maintain enterprise-scale GitHub architecture across organizations, teams, and repositories. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Architecture & Platform Strategy Lead the development and implementation of governance models, policy frameworks, and operating standards. Establish and maintain GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) baselines and secure-by-default templates. Design organization-wide branch protection, CODEOWNERS, and repository compliance strategies. DevSecOps & CI/CD Architecture Architect and standardize CI/CD frameworks, while transitioning legacy tools to GitHub Actions. Design secure, reusable pipeline templates and define shared runner strategies (GitHub-hosted & self-hosted). Establish environment promotion models, artifact versioning, and release governance patterns. Operational Excellence & Scalability Design repository scalability and performance standards, including Git LFS architecture and monorepo/multirepo strategies.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices, pipeline security, and secure SDLC.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-grade CI/CD frameworks.
  • Expertise in identity and access management, SSO/SCIM integrations, and RBAC models.
  • Experience in audit, compliance, and governance in regulated enterprise environments.

Nice To Haves

  • GitHub Administration / GitHub Advanced Security certifications.
  • Cloud Architect certifications (Azure or AWS).
  • DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and Terraform certifications are a plus!
