Create and revise AM/FM system data, mapping and other facility records to reflect facilities constructed from pipeline construction returns, service installations and other field records including Global Positioning System (GPS) data including, digitization of vector data and population of associated attribute data. Perform precision data collection/creation, manipulation, maintenance, plotting and conversion in a GIS environment. Collect and prepare spatial data and associated attributes for use in GIS projects. Perform quality assurance /quality control (QA/QC) audits and error correction for AM/FM data collection and data maintenance, and mapping products. Read and interpret cartographic/mapping products including engineering plans, facility mapping and other assorted drawings and information. Provide research of infrastructure records for past or current construction information when requested. Develop, maintain and demonstrate proficiency with established GIS specific and related software, including the ArcGIS suite of products. Assist with related outside office duties in area of GPS data collection, engineering survey and other areas as needed. Serve outside customers when needed to provide requested information, and hardcopy documents pertaining to infrastructure records and mapping. Copy facility records/plans, and produce maps, charts and other graphics required for meetings and hearings as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
