About The Position

In this position you will be responsible for maintaining accurate graphic and attribute data in the CAGIS database and producing customized, high-quality digital outputs. Summary of Job Duties: Creates, manages, and maintains Cincinnati Area Geographic Information System (CAGIS) databases. Has overall responsibility for storm water layer of CAGIS and oversees and provides work direction to applicable staff as it relates to this work with CAGIS. . Coordinates database development and data collection efforts, maintains documentation, and ensures timely project implementation. Prepares customized digital outputs, conducts data analysis and research, produces reports and documentation, and reviews project materials for regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Planning, Surveying, or closely related field.
  • Two (2) years related experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of training and experience which evidences a thorough understanding of geographic information systems concepts, operation and equipment, and automated information processing methods and techniques
