About The Position

CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a select GIS AI Software Engineer that wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of US Special Operations Command. This opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining applications for a GIS Enterprise and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 8 years of progressive experience performing design, development, and modification of UI and applications
• Typically, 12 years of progressive related experience in lieu of a degree is accepted
• Experience with engineering UI and applications in support AI/ML strategies for the DoD/IC.
• Experienced creating and developing custom tools and distributed process for large datasets.
• Experience with/possessing a high level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
• Proficient with at least two with scripting and programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, etc.).
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinates.
• Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01 (Security+)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and three additional years of general experience in the field intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience

Responsibilities

• Use advanced AI software engineering techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of applications and databases for GIS Enterprise.
• Design and implement UI systems, integrate disparate data sources, establish API’s, and construct frameworks that enable AI/ML functions by integrating ML models into user applications and platforms.
• Recommend innovative technologies that enhance the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning.
