We are looking for a summer GIS Mapping intern who will work out of our Tulsa, OK office Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Successful candidates will be enrolled in an accredited college, technical school, or university and will have completed their Junior year by this summer. The GIS Mapping Intern focus will be on the following activities: Understand how Explorer receives and processes GIS data for internal use, survey data from inspectors, ROW Techs, vendors, or outside work (i.e. easement releases), foreign line crossings, integrity data from handhelds, relocation drawings, plats, exhibits, weld maps, historical documents, and understand how our department is used to support the company through alignment sheets, enterprise asset database, project files, working with legal and right of way on easement releases, project engineering, prelim planning, validating data, integrity and dig maps.
