This internship position involves performing moderate technical work converting geographic information to digital data. The intern will be responsible for field and office GPS/GIS support, including data acquisition and data manipulation. The work is performed under regular supervision. The County offers three internship tiers based on the student's current educational level, with varying pay rates: Intern I ($15.00) for current Juniors or Seniors in High School or Freshmen in University/College; Intern II ($18.00) for Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors in University/College; and Intern III ($21.00) for graduate or law school students in an accredited academic program.
