GIS Developer II

Design, develop, debug, and implement cross browser GIS applications leveraging ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS Portal, Web AppBuilder and other server technologies in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience
- 2+ years of experience developing browser-based GIS applications
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, CSS, JSON, XML, SQL 2008, Oracle 11+, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Eclispse, SonarQube, TeamCity, Maven Subversion, WebLogic, WeSphere, ArcGIS for Server, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ModelBuilder, ArcGIS Network Analyst and Spatial
- Experience with user authentication, single sign-on using OAuth or SAML
- Experience communicating with ESB, reading from/writing to message queues, creating RESTful web services, interacting with geodatabases
- Good understanding of ArcGIS geoprocessing tools
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain GIS applications
- Develop custom mapping solutions to be used for various purposes using ESRI technologies
- Develop browser-based GIS applications, Enterprise Java development (JEE, EJB), C#
- Create, deploy, and access map and feature services on Esri ArcGIS Server (10.1+, preferably 10.2)
- Analyze functional requirements and recommend adoption of new technologies, products, and services
- Utilize GIS and organizational best practices to maintain and manage GIS layers
- Responsible for geoprocessing with standalone tools and Model Builder
- Develop and document standards and best practices pertaining to GIS
- Provide ongoing maintenance of the GIS technical infrastructure including desktop, web, mobile and server-based applications, and database support
- Stay current on developments in GIS hardware and software and make recommendations to update systems
