About The Position
Client: FL Government Agency Position: GIS DBA T erm: ASAP - June 2 Pay: $65/Hr - $67/Hr Work Authorization: MUST be USC or GC holder no other visa status will be accepted for an application Location: On Site - Tallahassee, FL 32301 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: The candidate must have skills and five (5) years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms: Must have experience with GIS and spatial databases (specifically PostgreSQL and Oracle) Must have experience SQL Server 2012 and above Must have experience Oracle 19c and above Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-hosted GIS services (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Azure GIS integrations). Experience with Azure SQL is a plus Responsibilities: Daily operational and database administration activities Plan, design, implement, support for database structures Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation Perform SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL Code reviews Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
Requirements
