If so, then consider joining Wake County Geographic Information Services as a GIS Analyst on our Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) team! In the GIS Analyst role, you will be part of a dedicated 4-member team responsible for all aspects of project definition and execution, using GIS knowledge and best practice project management methodology. PPM empowers customers through support and service and oversees customer business improvements through definition, analysis and implementation of various GIS solutions including but not limited to: ArcGIS Online Story Maps, digital datasets, dashboards, desktop analyses resulting in maps and reports, etc. The PPM team provides critical GIS data and support to various Wake County departments and municipalities by working closely with other GIS Division teams, including Customer Service, E911/Addressing, Property Mapping, and System and Applications. Wake GIS supports a variety of projects for: Board of Elections - County Manager's Office - E911 Call Center - Fire Services / Emergency Management / Emergency Operations Center - EMS - Environmental Services - Facilities, Design & Construction - General Services Administration - Housing Affordability & Community Revitalization - Health & Human Services - Parks, Recreation & Open Space - Planning, Development & Inspections - Sheriff's Office - Soil & Water Conservation District - Strategy, Performance & Innovation Tax Administration - Wake County Public Libraries.
