About The Position

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School is seeking a Head Coach for the Girls Spring Track team for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is part of the Athletics & Activities department and is essential for guiding and developing student-athletes in track and field.

Requirements

• NJ Instructional Certification.
• Successful experience as a Track Coach.
• Experience as a player in the sport is preferred.
• Completion of Principles of Coaching Course and current CPR/AED preferred but must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Girls Spring Track team.
• Develop training programs and strategies to enhance athlete performance.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and competitions.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
