About The Position

The JV Girls Volleyball Head Coach supports the varsity program through athlete development and preparation for varsity-level play. The coach must demonstrate strong communication, teaching ability, and commitment to Christian character.

Requirements

Volleyball coaching or playing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of fundamentals and systems
Ability to teach and mentor student-athletes
Great recruiter/retention skills for your program
Must pass a background check
Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play.
Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training

Responsibilities

Support the vision and standards of the Varsity Head Coach
Teach fundamentals and develop competitive skills
Coach practices, games, and conditioning
Will to run successful summer camps
Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential
Supervise athletes at all times, until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of
Manage equipment and facility cleanliness
Submit rosters and results as required
Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms
Plan team banquet and awards
Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest finish
Other duties as assigned
