About The Position
Champions Westlake is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Team Gymnastics Coaches for our USAG Xcel Program athletes. As a Team Gymnastics Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting athletes as they develop their gymnastics skills, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. We are committed to fostering a positive and safe environment where every child can thrive and become a Champion. In this role, you will assist the head coach in training and preparing USAG Xcel Program athletes for competitions, events, and meets. You will create and deliver effective coaching sessions that focus on skill development, technique, and overall physical fitness. Your ability to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere will encourage athletes' personal growth, skill enhancement, and teamwork. You will be responsible for communicating clearly and effectively with athletes, parents, coaches, and other stakeholders. Providing constructive feedback and guidance to athletes will be essential in helping them improve and reach their full potential. Upholding the Champions philosophy that "Every Child is a Champion!" and integrating this philosophy into your coaching strategies will be a key aspect of your role. You will also attend all required meets and events to support and guide athletes during competitions, as necessary. Maintaining a strong understanding of USAG gymnastics levels and requirements, you will adapt coaching strategies accordingly and adhere to the established coaching schedule while fulfilling assigned coaching duties.
